I put a EMG 81 in my Squier Start. Please help me with the problems of incompatibility!?
I heard that this is impossible, but I I'm stubborn and I want to put on the truck, what kind of changes you make, and how I can wire everything? Digriams no help, no help other diagrams. Acitve This is a pick-up, I have a room for the battery, next to the 5-way switch that is supported. How I can call? What should I do? Please help.
You must have the right pickguard for it and you'll need some equipment, which may or may not come with the collection itself. An active pickup swamp other, so if you put an EMG in the bridge, then you will not be able to use the Micros very well, anyway. New kicker (with a humbucker in the bridge), possibly new pots (25 k I think instead of 500 k). I suggest you read carefully to know what you are doing for yourself. Let me also suggest research Dragonfire pickups? I've heard they are supposed to sound at least halfway decent – and are soooo much cheaper.
